The Swiss Ornithological Institute Sempach is a non-profit foundation for ornithology and bird conservation. It monitors the native bird world, researches its way of life and campaigns for the endangered bird world. It cares for injured and orphaned birds, informs and advises the public and runs a visitor centre in Sempach.

Bowling Centre Sursee
The Bowlingcenter Sursee has seven 9-foot tournament billiard tables. Thanks to the generous empty spaces between the tables, a pleasant flow of play is guaranteed. The billiard area is located directly next to the main bar and the well-ventilated fumoir. Up to 12 players can play on each of the 14 modern bowling lanes, but it is recommended to play with a maximum of 7 players per lane to guarantee a pleasant flow of play.

You are locked in a room with your group and have exactly 60 minutes to escape! Completely on your own, you have to explore rooms, find hiding places and secret doors and use cunning and curiosity to find out the meaning behind mysterious objects, devices and signs. Only in this way will you succeed in escaping. The game requires no physical exertion, is not dangerous and contains no horror elements; the focus is on fun. The facility is located in Emmenbrücke.

Art & Culture
The unique ensemble of the KKLB lies in the middle of the most beautiful landscape. The KKLB comprises a central building with over 45 small and large rooms, three old villas, a bunker complex, a sheep pen, several pavilions and a mysterious new building without windows - "Zihlenfeldlöchli". With its installations and exhibitions, the complex is a huge Gesamtkunstwerk. Anyone who immerses themselves here will perceive everyday life with new eyes.

Sankturbanhof Museum
In the beautiful, historic house, temporary exhibitions on current art and social topics can be seen. In the permanent exhibition, newly set up since 2017, visitors can immerse themselves in the history and present of Sursee. In three rooms, objects, buildings or personalities can be discovered in a playful and interactive way. Another three rooms present the diverse museum collections and treasures of Sursee arts and crafts, especially baroque reverse glass painting and goldsmith's art.
